Challenger Hockey League

  • Hello Parents & Players, hope everyone is having a great Summer. GTHA is proud to announce a new season for our Challenger Hockey League, instructional based hockey for boys and girls aged 4-17 with special needs. Now entering it’s third season we are thrilled to offer hockey to all children.

    Registrations for the Challenger League and Fall Hockey league are both open until September 19th.

    Gloucester Twp. Challenger League 

    The Gloucester Twp Hockey Challenger League is starting its 3rd season!

    The Challenger League is for boys and girls ages 4-17 years old with special needs. This is an instructional based league. We will be working on the basics of hockey with our “buddy” system – volunteers from our in-house league come to play!

    Registration will be in-person at the Gloucester Twp rinks on:

    Saturday September 14th from 10-12am
    Wednesday September 18th from 6-8 pm

    Cost is $50 for New Players which include a game jersey with   your child’s name and a number of their choice.
    (Returning players cost is $25 if recycling your jersey)

         -Program will run for 10 weeks, starting the beginning of October.
         -Practices will be Saturday mornings from 9 - 10:15am at the GT

    Recreation Center (80 Broadacres Dr, Clementon, NJ 08021)

    *All participating players will be required to have: Helmet, leg pads, stick (nothing fancy!) and gloves. We also have equipment if needed!
